San Diego HRC Prepares For SD Pride

San Diego HRC is looking for enthusiastic people to join us and Partner for Equality. This Pride, make a real difference. INSPIRE EQUALITY with the Human Rights Campaign – San Diego’s award-winning volunteers*.

Here are the ways you can make a difference and INSPIRE EQUALITY:

Be part of the Equality Contingent!  March in the Parade.
The HRC Equality logo/flag has become an international icon of LGBT freedom.. Hear the crowd stop and cheer as you carry the huge HRC flag through Hillcrest. This will be an unforgettable Pride experience.  Includes:
• Volunteer Training & Appreciation BBQ
• Pre-Parade Get-Together/Social Event
• Free HRC T-Shirt

Be an Equality Expert!  Assist at the HRC Festival Booth.
Work one-on-one with HRC-SD committee members and HRC headquarters’ staff educating the public about the latest steps we are taking to INSPIRE EQUALITY on the federal, state and local levels. Encourage people to join and directly impact real change across the country. (Don’t worry. We’ll train you about everything you’ll need to know.) Especially if you are already planning to attend the Pride Festival, now you can spend part of your time making a difference with HRC. (Two-hour shifts throughout the festival will be assigned at the Volunteer BBQ.)  Includes:
Volunteer Training & Appreciation BBQ
Free HRC T-Shirt

HRC Pride Volunteer Training & Appreciation BBQ: Thursday, July 16, 7 - 9 pm.
The Thursday before Pride Weekend, we will host a Volunteer Training & Appreciation BBQ. You’ll learn everything there is for you to learn about HRC and what to do the day(s) you volunteer.  You’ll also get to meet and socialize with other equality-minded folks from San Diego.
