Welcome to the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Emerging Community in San Diego! HRC is America’s largest gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender (GLBT) civil rights organization working to achieve equality and improve the lives of GLBT people. We are a dedicated and diverse group of volunteers who strive to increase HRC’s presence and make a positive difference in the lives of our GLBT community in San Diego, in California, and in the federal government, through meaningful and fun community events. Summer may be coming to a close, but the HRC San Diego Steering Committee has been busy moving equality efforts forward this week with two historic events and a face-to-face Congressional lobby visit. Read More »
Sunday September 6th, promotor Michael Mack presented his second annual T Dance on the Bay. This was a three hour cruise (yes a three hour cruise...) around beautiful San Diego Harbour aboard the "Spirit of San Diego."
It was perfect San Diego weather that day, and with over 300 people attending, the ship was not only packed - it helped raise $1300 for the Human Rights Campaign. Major donors included Lei Lounge, Rich's Nightclub, Urban Mo's/DCSS, Barry's Boot Camp and event promotor, Michael Mack.
